3 Idiots Movie Review..Aal izz well !!!

There are some movies with which you instantly fall in love .. Its one of that kind .. I simply loved the film .. Trust me .. You cant afford to miss this one .. Go for it as soon as you can !! Thanks a ton to Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir for ending the year 2009 with such a great film..

I was getting bored on Wednesday as there was very less work in the office because of holiday season. I was browsing through the news and saw that 3 idiots is released ... I couldn't wait any longer .. went for the same evening.

What is it about ? :- Its about the 3 college friends studying in an engineering college Rancho (Aamir Khan), Farhan (R Madhavan) and Raju (Sharman Joshi). Rancho is different from everyone in the college. His ideas are very different and innovative. He doesn't believe in byhearting the things. He loves having fun in whatever he does and doesn't like the typical lectures and study patterns. Rancho doesn't like to follow any patterns which gets him and his friends in trouble many times. Rancho gets thrown out of the class every now and then and director of the college Viru (Boman Irani) is eager to rusticate Rancho and save his room mates (Raju and Farhan). Despite this Rancho surprisingly tops the class every time. Rancho also believes in general goodness and can do anything for his friends. Rancho, Farhan and Raju are room mates and best friends. Raju has his own family problems like paralyzed dad and poor mother waiting for Raju to start earning. Farhan wants to do wildlife photography but his dad wants him to become engineer. Rancho is of course their guru and guide who can do anything for them.

Twist comes when Rancho disappears on the graduation day and his lover Pia who is director Viru's daughter, Farhan and Raju keep searching him for next 5 years. And finally they get some link about Rancho and they do their best to find him. Why did Rancho disappear ? Where did he go ? Why he didn't marry Pia after graduation ? Want to know ?? Book back to back shows and find it out .. Movie deserves multiple viewing.

Film has so many fun scenes which will make you laugh like anything, seriously I don't remember any recent film doing this. Scenes like ragging, Chatur's (ratta master) hilarious speech, Raju's family in black-and-white, Pia and Rancho's initial meeting and many more are so well written that you cant stop laughing. There are some other scenes which make you think and some scenes make you cry. Especially the scenes like Raju's suicide attempt and his recovery and Rancho getting rusticated are very well picturised.

All the songs are great and situational including the hummable Aal Izz Well .. ! Starting song, 'Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh' is also really great and correctly describes Rancho. 'Jaane Nahin Denge Tujhe' will surely bring tears in your eyes.

Dialogues are sharp and catchy and shows the Rajkumar's sheer brilliance. People say its adapted from Chetan Bhagat's "Five point Someone" but only few scenes are taken from the book and rest is original work.

Everyone has done his/her best and there is no weak performance in this film. Of course Aamir is the best and he is the heart and soul of the three idiots and he cant get any better than this. Hats Off to Aamir !!!

I cant stop myself from viewing it twice .. I am again going for it tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully you also do the same ! Let me know if you also like the film !!!
